Szeptember (Magyar)
Elnémult a rigó. Az esteli csöndben
az őszi bogár szomorú pri-pri dala szól már.
A távoli szőlőkben panaszolja szünetlen:
elmúlt, odavan a nyár, a meleg nyár!
Így változik búsra az én hegedűm is:
fejemre az ősz dere, az ősz dere száll.
Gazdagon érik a szőlőm, telve a csűr is,
de pri-pri: odavan a nyár, – a nyár… |
September (Angol)
Silent is the thrush now. As the day is waning
the still's filled with "pree-pree" - that sad beetle sound.
In the far-off vineyards endless their complaining:
warm summer had ended, will not be around!
That's why my fiddle, too, sounds a sad refrain:
flying autumn frosts come, on my head the grey.
Rich the vintage will be, the barn is full again,
but "pree-pree": summer's gone; the summer went away…
