József Attila: Leap from the current (Bukj föl az árból Angol nyelven)
Csapj a kezemre menyköveddel.

Leap from the current (Angol)Give me a fright, my God, for I could use correction, angriness. Leap from the current and defy the pull of the drift, the emptiness.
I, whom horses throw to the ground, who barely rises above the dust, use knives of pain that cause a hurt too great for a man yet play I must.
Igniting fast and like the sun - such is my flare - take it, shout to jolt that you forbade what I had done, and slap my hand with a thunderbolt.
Beat into me with vengeance, grace: lack of transgression is sin as well! Such innocence as mine must face a pain more burning than fiery hell.
When lying down - alone - I twist, wild ocean's morsel, sea-slaver tossed, am game for all, but where's the gist when all is pointless, the meaning lost.
Take heed, I'll hold my breath to die, should you not beat me but spare my back, and boldly in my death will I, with staring man-face, confront your lack.
