Esti ima (Magyar)
Az anyukám már nincs velem,
Nagynak kell lennem hirtelen,
Mert elvitték egy éjszaka,
Ahonnan nem jöhet haza.
Az anyukám a mennybe ment,
Azt mondják, Isten része lett,
Most este, ha feküdni kell,
Az imát kinek mondjam el?
„Én Istenem, jó Istenem,
Anya, ha tudsz, maradj velem!”
És végül csak úgy alszom el,
Hogy reggel újra itt leszel.
És jönnek sorban a napok,
Anya, ne aggódj, jól vagyok,
Mondok mesét, ha este van,
S hajnalig ringatom magam. |
Evening Prayer (Angol)
My mum’s not any more with me, I’ve got to grow up so suddenly, One night she was just taken away, From there home again there is no way. My mum went up to heaven above, She’s said to be a part of God, Now at night when it’s time for bed, Who will I say my prayer to then? „Oh, my God, my God up in heaven, Mum, stay with me if only you can!” And I can only fall asleep so that I’m sure to see you tomorrow. And time passes, day after day, Mum, don’t worry, I am okay, In the evening I tell some tales, And I cradle myself till dawn breaks.
