Sebestyén Péter: Haiku in midnight-blue and white (Haikuk éjkékben és fehérben Angol nyelven)
|
Haikuk éjkékben és fehérben (Magyar)Párját kereső sas kering; visszhangzik a sziklában a szív.
Elment, akár a többi, ez a monszun is. Ne álmodj újat!
A villámnak hány ágát láttad?
Száz napja hallgat a szél. Száz napja hívlak furulyaszóval.
Rókát szimatolt kutyám. Elengedtem hát, pedig medve volt.
Ültess fákat is. Azt ne hidd, hogy csak ettől halhatatlanok.
Fagy tapogatja a fenyvest; felsikolt az őz, ha vége már.
A csillagokkal élek és halok, miket éjjel sír az ég.

Haiku in midnight-blue and white (Angol)An eagle circles seeking its mate; the heart is echoing in rock.
This monsoon went like the others. Don't keep dreaming of any new ones!
How many zigzags of the lightning did you see? Nice, like blood in veins.
Ninety-nine; there are no more chrysanthemums left, they’re all that remains.
How many nights went? How many dawns are counting all my silent ways?
Storm rages up here. I'll see whilst I'm falling whatever is below.
Silence of autumn midst summer noises; I lie down to lose my dreams.
For a hundred days the wind has been still, and I called you with fluting.
My dog caught the scent foxes. I let him run free, turned out it was bear.
Plant some trees also. Don't think that only this will make them immortal.
The frost is feeling the fir-wood. The deer cries out once it had ended.
I live and die with all the stars that the sky sheds as tears in the night.
