Nur einmal

hat die Wasseramsel sich gezeigt.

Es strahlte

das Weiß an ihrer Brust.

Wo sie hinabgetaucht ist,

kann uns der Fluß

nie wieder dunkel werden.

Csak egyszer

mutatkozott a vízirigó.            

Melle fehére

fénylett.  

Ahol alábukott,                                                        

soha többé nem lesz

sötét a folyó.
