Vuong, Ocean: Ars poetica (Ars Poetica in Hungarian)

When two ships emerge
from a wall of fog,
the sails lit with sheets of fire,
there will be a traveler on each deck
with the same face,
watching flames reflect
in the other's eyes

Mikor a ködfalból
felbukkan két hajó,
tüzes lepedőkként égnek a vitorlák,
mindkét fedélzeten ugyanazzal az arccal
figyeli majd egy utazó
a másik szemében
tükröződő lángokat
