Egy szenvedély margójára (Hungarian)
A tengerpartot járó kisgyerek
mindíg talál a kavicsok közt egyre,
mely mindöröktől fogva az övé,
és soha senki másé nem is lenne.
Az elveszíthetetlent markolássza!
Egész szive a tenyerében lüktet,
oly egyetlen egy kezében a kő,
és vele ő is olyan egyedűl lett.
Nem szabadúl már soha többé tőle.
A víznek fordul, s messze elhajítja.
Hangot sem ad a néma szakitás,
egy egész tenger zúgja mégis vissza.

Note on the Margin of a Passion (English)
The wandering child, though seeing many more, Will always find that pebble on the shore That has truly belonged to him for ever And could never be that of another.
Knowing that they are inseparable, His heart throbbing right next to the pebble, In his hand the stone is one and only, Together with it he fell so lonely.
No power can ever set him free. Turning around he throws it in the sea. Silently breaks what was firmly bound Yet a whole sea echoes back the sound.
