Idén csak az emlékezetünkben szánkóztunk,
Hóangyalok is csak ott röpködtek
(hóembert viszont építtettünk),
És egyre többször kezdtük úgy a mondatainkat,
Hogy „Emlékszel…”

És amikor a nyakamban ülve vittelek,
Tücsökciripelést hallottunk a hóesésben.

This year we only had recollections of sleigh-rides,
Same goes for flying angel imprints in the snow
(but we did build a snowman),
And we started our sentences more and more
With "Do you remember…"
 
And when I carried you sitting on my shoulder,
We heard cricket song in a snowfall.
