Blue marks stream onto paper

And nicely piece together

As vernal crops,

The fresh writing,

A string of seeds,

Spilling from a human heart –

Only there was one to taste

The broken bread of

Everyday verse,

- Illuminating,

As the bright message

Of the Last Supper.

Not the body's nutrition,

But the world's confession.
