Karádi Kázmér: My own fable (Az én mesém in English)

Portre of Karádi Kázmér

Az én mesém (Hungarian)

Saját folyómnál horgászok
Mesékre, történetekre,
S a kristálytiszta víz alatt
Ezüstös mondák cikáznak.
Néha felrándulok a forráshoz
Iszok a regékből, feltöltöm magam
A homokviharba veszett idők,
S messzeségek lágy sodrásával.

My own fable (English)

I am angling by my own river
For fables and stories,
Silvery legends are darting about
Under crystal-clear waters.
Sometimes I hike up to the source,
Drink from the tales, recharge myself
With times lost in sandstorms,
And the far-off softly rolling by.
