Sipos Tamás: Night on the bench (Éjszaka a padon Angol nyelven)
|
Ezen a padon ülte magát rokkantra a nagyapám.

Night on the bench (Angol)I always take a rest on the same bench, on the same poem. So sometimes I can include something about grandfather and great grandfather, so that instead of my childhood, I can tell stories about our street and a cherry tree.
I just sit so I can mention about the stars that pop up: they shine like droplets of urine squirted beside the toilet bowl on the seal-brown tiles of the bathroom.
My grandfather sat disablingly long on this bench. In front of the house from where the State Protection Authority had made him disappear as the unfortunate selectee of a magic act,
Nothing was left after grandfather, a Petőfi-like picture remained after great-grandfather, with which I share a frame. Dawn is already wall-papering with hoarfrost, I'm arranging my noises about me. Just sitting till morning, so I can speak of something that requires time, as if I had locked my self out from myself.
