Zajos Lármás Vilmos (Hungarian)

I.

    Vilmos csapta a lármát,
      hogy piacra menjen
    és eladja a brácsát
      majd ezt meg azt vegyen;
    Brácsától elszakadva
      eleredt sós könnye;
    búsult felkavarva,
      légy hát üdvözölve!
II.

    Vilmos, jer, add el brácsád,
      add el oly ékeset;
    Vilmos jer add el brácsád,
      végy egy pint hegylevet!
    „Ha brácsám pénzzé tenném,
      azt hinnék ketty voltam;
    Fellengzős napok mentén
      brácsámmal elvoltam.”

III.

    Crochallan mentén járván,
      halkan benéztem én--
    Vilmos csapta a lármát
      kocsma fedélzetén;
   Törzshelyén nyomva támlát,
      körben ücsörögve;
    Vilmos csapta a lármát,
      légy hát üdvözölve!
